Gun Announce 'Taking On The World' Reissue And Glasgow Album Dates

Gun have confirmed plans to reissue their first album, ‘Taking On The World’, along with a trio of album shows at Glasgow’s King Tut’s.
The repackaged album will arrive on October 27 and open the album dates on November 9, with ‘Gallus’ and ‘Swagger’ set to follow on consecutive days.
Discussing the reissue, the band’s frontman, Dante Gizzi, said:
“It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since we recorded ‘Taking On The World’ in Park Lane Studios. Like all bands that first start out recording their debut album we had no inhibitions, not needing to worry about retaining any level of success as we hadn’t been there before, we just wanted to record an album that WE wanted to make. So proud of what we achieved with that album and just so happy that it’s been given a proper re-release.”
