Gary Barlow has apologised after allegations of tax avoidance surfaced earlier this year and confirmed that work is ongoing on a new Take That album.
Barlow returned to Twitter last night and wrote:"I want to apologise to anyone who was offended by the tax stories earlier this year. With a new team of accountants, we are working to settle things with all parties involved ASAP."
Soon after he announced that a follow up to Take That’s 2010 effort ‘Progess’ is in the works and that tour plans are also afoot.
“We have been working since the new year on a new Take That studio album,” he wrote. “We are extremely excited about it ! It has been 4 long years since the last one. It's so nice to be back in the band !”
Robbie Williams will not be returning to the band for this record and tour. Barlow, meanwhile, has also been working on the Finding Neverland musical, which has opened for previews and is set to hit Broadway early next year.
