Manic Street Preachers have hinted at an unidentified Welsh castle show for next year.
The trio, who recently confirmed a string of December arena shows to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album 'The Holy Bible', have left out a homecoming show on the upcoming tour, raising questions of a return to Wales next year.
Nicky Wire referred to the absent Welsh show while speaking to Shaun Keaveny on BBC 6 Music, suggesting that this will be rectified next year.
“Because it (the tour) sold out so quickly and we didn’t play the Midlands or Wales on this tour we are hoping to rectify that. I can’t be any more specific but fear not we shall satisfy some needs next year. One of them in Wales may involve a castle, that’s all I can say.”
The band will play the album, the band's last to feature guitarist and lyricist Richey Edwards before his disappearance in 1995, in full at Glasgow's Barrowland, two nights at Manchester's Albert Hall, Dublin's Olympia Theatre and three shows at London's Roundhouse.
