AC/DC's Malcolm Young Suffering From Dementia

Wednesday, 01 October 2014 Written by Huw Baines

Malcolm Young’s family have confirmed that the AC/DC guitarist is suffering from dementia.

In a statement released to People, they said: "Malcolm is suffering from dementia and the family thanks you for respecting their privacy."

The band announced Young’s retirement last week, also unveiling details of their new album, ‘Rock Or Bust’, and plans for an accompanying tour.

Stevie Young, nephew of Malcolm and Angus, played guitar on the record and will also hit the road with AC/DC. ‘Rock Or Bust’ is out on December 1.
