Foo Fighters’ forthcoming Sonic Highways documentary has been picked up by the BBC for broadcast in the UK.
The eight part HBO series chronicles the recording of the band’s eighth album in studios across the US, with stops in Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C..
The first episode will air on October 26 on BBC Four, with its second, seventh and eighth instalments also set to be shown on the channel. The remaining segments will be housed on the BBC’s iPlayer.
The ‘Sonic Highways’ album is out on November 10, with the band hinting at a possible UK return in the near future following a headline slot at the recent Invictus Games and a trio of surprise club shows.
