Honeyblood Share Choker Video

Tuesday, 21 October 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Honeyblood have unveiled a Hitchcockian black and white video for their new single, Choker.

Directed by Tardo/Williams aka 4eyes.tv, Julian Tardo says about the making of the video:

"Stina told me that the song was inspired by Angela Carter's 'The Bloody Chamber', and I loved how Carter reinvented old tales, throwing all sorts of odd new contexts against these classic narratives. So I wanted to house Stina's reinterpretation of Bluebeard within yet another layer of context - so I suppose it's Bluebeard through the Bloody Chamber through film noir. I like layering these ideas over and over - I think the essence of human reaction becomes ever starker as you bury it in these layers."

The duo follow up their sold-out September tour by co-headlining the NME New Breed Tour 2014 with Superfood next month.
