Chance The Rapper Poised To Release 'Surf' By The End Of 2014

Wednesday, 22 October 2014 Written by Huw Baines

Chance The Rapper is poised to release new material, ‘Surf’, by the end of this year.

The Chicago rapper discussed the project, which has been guided by trumpet player Nico Segal, in a new interview with Billboard, having released his latest collaboration with the Social Experiment, No Better Blues, last week. He said:

“Surf is the first project, which is coming out before the end of 2014. It's the first Social Experiment project. It's a big step for all of us all putting our heads together and letting Nico hold the reins and carry it. There's a lot of great instrumentation. A lot of input from cool writers. I'm already saying too much.”

Chance The Rapper put out the ‘Acid Rap’ mixtape last year.
