A Day To Remember Forced To Pull Portsmouth Show After Fan Injured In Balcony Fall

A Day To Remember were forced to abandon the first show of their UK tour at Portsmouth’s Guildhall last night after a fan was injured in a fall from the venue’s balcony.
According to the News, a local newspaper, the fan, a man in his late teens, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious head injuries as the venue was evacuated in order for police to attend the scene.
The band, who are also due to play Plymouth, Brighton, Leeds, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Sheffield and Newcastle as part of this tour, later addressed the incident on Twitter.
Our thoughts are w/ the person who was injured at the show tonight in Portsmouth. Sorry we had to cut the set short due to the circumstances
