Field Day have confirmed that Patti Smith will perform ‘Horses’ in full at the festival next summer, continuing the record’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
Smith will take to the stage prior to Ride’s headline slot on Sunday night, while Caribou have been lined up to close proceedings on the previous evening.
Joining Dan Snaith and friends are Django Django, Chet Faker, Madlib, Kindness, Ten Walls, Owen Pallett, Clark, Nina Kraviz, Ben Klock b2b Marcel Dettmann, Andrew Weatherall, Sophie, Hailu Mergia, Ghost Culture, Tei Shi and Jagaara.
On Sunday, meanwhile, DIIV, Ducktails and Jane Weaver have also been added to the bill. Field Day will take over London’s Victoria Park on June 6 and 7.
