The Black Keys have been forced to cancel their upcoming European and UK concerts on their Turn Blue world tour.
Due to a serious shoulder injury to drummer Patrick Carney, the duo have had to cancel their tour dates up to March 10, including their arena shows in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, London, Cardiff and Leeds in February and March.
Due to prior scheduled commitments and venue availability, efforts to reschedule the original dates have been unsuccessful and all tickets will be refunded in full at their point of purchase.
Dan and Patrick issued the following statement to their official website:
“We are very sorry to have to cancel our upcoming performances through March 10. Patrick needs time to heal. We thank all of our fans for their support and we’re looking forward to getting back on the road.”
At this time, it is not expected that any dates after March 10 will be cancelled and the tour is set to pick up again on April 2 in Brisbane, Australia.
