L7 confirmed last night that the band have reformed.
The American grunge legends took to their Facebook page to reveal that the original line up (Donita Sparks/Suzi Gardner/Jennifer Finch/Dee Plakas) has reunited and will be playing shows this summer. The dates will be their first in 14 years and include a slot at Download festival this June.
To document the band's history, since it began in 1985, they have launched a Kickstarter campaign to make a film, L7: Pretend We're Dead. It will chronicle not only L7's story but the 1990s grunge movement as a whole.
