Great Cynics Share New Single Lost In You

Monday, 23 February 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Great Cynics have shared Lost In You, the first single from their forthcoming album.

'I Feel Weird' will be released April 13 through Specialist Subject Records and was recorded at Middle Farm studios with Peter Miles, who has previously worked with We Are The Ocean and Lonely The Brave.

Discussing the new record, frontman Giles Bidder said:

“'I Feel Weird' ended up being the fastest and poppiest songs we’ve done. We wanted to cut the crap and made a raw record, so we recorded it live and finished it in just over a week. Its pop simplicity was something we wanted this record to convey. If our last two records were about moving out on your own and discovering an exciting new world, this one’s realising that the only person you have is yourself in a completely up and down world.”

Check out the single below.

Great Cynics are currently on tour in Australia supporting The Smith Street Band. Following this the London/Devon trio will return to the UK and announce more shows in support of 'I Feel Weird'.
