Eric Clapton Confirms 70th Birthday Celebration Shows In New York

Eric Clapton will bring his 70th birthday celebrations to New York this spring.
The legendary British guitarist, who has hinted at retiring from the road after this year, will play the venue on May 1 and 2, however, both dates are scheduled to change due to a potential conflict with a playoff game.
Eric will be accompanied on stage by his band members Paul Carrack, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White and Michelle John, with opening support act Andy Fairweather Low and the Low Riders.
Tickets are on sale at 11am (EST) on March 20.
