Peter Hook And The Light will play a one-off date at Christ Church in Macclesfield to celebrate the life and work of Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis.
The bassist will lead a performance of the band’s complete works - including ‘Unkown Pleasures’, ‘Closer’ and ‘Still’ in full - on May 18, the 35th anniversary of Curtis’ death, at a show dubbed This Is Permanence.
All proceeds from the gig will go to The Epilepsy Society and The Churches Conservation Trust, with tickets on sale at 9am on March 25.
