Florence And The Machine Share New Single Ship To Wreck

Thursday, 09 April 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Florence and The Machine have shared their new single, Ship To Wreck.

The track, which was premiered on BBC Radio 1 last night, is taken from the forthcoming album, ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’, due for release June 1. Discussing the track, Florence Welch said:

"I guess I was thinking about my own self destructive side, and how you can make something only to tear it down, enjoy/destroy, create/devastate etc… When you're in that whirlwind, you often end up breaking the thing you love the most."

Check it out below.

Meanwhile, Florence and the Machine will play Radio 1's Big Weekend in May and Electric Picnic in September.
