Florence And The Machine Release Ship To Wreck Video

Monday, 13 April 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Florence and The Machine have released the video for their latest single, Ship To Wreck.

The track is taken from the forthcoming third album, ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’, due for release June 1 on Island Records. Discussing the track, Florence Welch said:

“I was thinking about my own self destructive side, and how you can make something only to tear it down, enjoy/destroy, create/devastate etc. When you're in that whirlwind, you often end up breaking the thing you love the most."

The video was shot in Welch's home and directed by Vincent Haycock and choreographed by Ryan Heffington, who also worked on the video for the recent single What Kind of Man. Check it out below.

Meanwhile, Florence and the Machine will play Radio 1's Big Weekend in May and Electric Picnic in September.
