The Darkness Post New 'Last Of Our Kind' Cut Hammer & Tongs

The Darkness have posted Hammer & Tongs, a cut from their new album, 'Last Of Our Kind'.
The new LP will be released June 1 via Kobalt Label Services. Meanwhile, discussing Hammer & Tongs, vocalist Justin Hawkins said:
“Raw like sashimi, served with all the accoutrements you'd expect from The Darkness. Powerful, emotional lyrics sung from the heart (because it sounds better that way), a massive chorus, stripped naked and weeping, and some really brilliant guitar playing.”
“It's about prolonged, involved love-making in the sultry air of a hot summer night that yields to a hot summer morning. Rivulets of sweat. Unbridled passion. There's a fire in the city. It's out of control. They said it couldn't (perhaps shouldn't) be done. They were wrong, they hadn't counted on The Darkness.”
The Darkness will play an album launch show on June 3 at Dingwalls, London, along with Groove Festival, Daytripper Festival and Brownstock Festival in July and Boardmasters and Victorious Festival in August.
Later in the year the band will head out on their Blast Of Our Kind UK tour, which kicks off November 30 in Norwich.
