Black Sabbath, Ed Sheeran and Hozier were among the winners at the Ivor Novello awards.
The ceremony took place last night at Grosvenor House, London. Sheeran took home Songwriter Of The Year, Hozier won Best Song Musically and Lyrically for Take Me To Church, Jack Steadman beat Royal Blood and Wild Beasts for the Album Award with 'So Long, See You Tomorrow' and James Napier and Jack Patterson achieved Best Contemporary Song for Rather Be.
Meanwhile, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne and Bill Ward (Black Sabbath) were honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, James Dean Bradfield, Sean Moore and Nicky Wire (Manic Street Preachers) received The Ivors Inspiration Award and Annie Lennox achieved the BASCA Fellowship.
