Simple Minds will headline the new two day music event, Boomerang Festival.
The legendary quintet will join the already announced Jessie J and The Vamps at Hickstead Showground this September. Discussing their love of touring, frontman Jim Kerr said:
“When we started Simple Minds, our objective was to be considered as one of the great live bands. A band that had the desire to go all around the world – playing everywhere and anywhere. That challenge is ongoing and we relish touring all over the UK.”
Boomerang Festival will take over Hickstead Showground on September 12 and September 13. Tickets are on sale now. Early bird tickets are available, with prices starting from £39.50. Standard day tickets cost £45.00. Further artist additions will follow over the coming weeks.
