Wednesday, 10 June 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Festival No.6 has announced this year's Woodlands line up, which will include Badly Drawn Boy, Dutch Uncles and Jane Weaver.

This is the first year that guest artists will take over the Lost In The Woods live stage. Badly Drawn Boy will kick things off by performing and curating the Friday. Joining his bill are John Shuttleworth, The Wedding Present, The Walk, Songs for Walter and former ACR bassist/vocalist Jez Kerr. Discussing his performance, Damon Gough, aka Badly Drawn Boy, said:

“It’ll be my third time at Festival No.6 and it’s an honour to curate the Lost in the Woods stage. It’s also a treat to have some very good mates join me across the day. Some of them are hopefully going to do a few covers from Bewilderbeast too so it should be a laugh. Festival No. 6 is one of the best festivals I’ve been to and playing the Lost in the Woods stage as the sun sets over the estuary is something very special.”

Dutch Uncles are the Saturday night headliners. Supporting them will be Cuz ,the new project of Mike Watt’s of The Stooges, Minutemen and fIREHOSE, Slug, former Egyptian Hip Hop frontman Aldous RH, Aero Flynn and Ménage à Trois.

Jane Weaver is in charge of the final day and will finish things off with a Bird Records showcase featuring a bill of DJs and live music, including Emma Tricca, Big Sexy Land co-creator and Hollywood 7 DJ John Doran, Novella, Paperdollhouse, Let’s Eat Grandma, Orlando and DJ sets from Lady J and the Finders Keepers crew.

Also heading to Portmeirion in September are James Bay, Gaz Coombes, Black Grape, Everything, Everything, Metronomy, Ronson, British Sea Power, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Badly Drawn Boy, Jane Weaver, Grace Jones, Belle & Sebastian, Kate Tempest, Rae Morris, Years & Years, Haelos, Shura, The Bohicas, Stornoway and Fryars.
