Screaming Eagles Announce Release Of New Album

Monday, 29 June 2015 Written by Jon Stickler

Screaming Eagles have announced the release of their new album, 'Stand Up And Be Counted'.

Set for release on July 13 via Off Yer Rocka Records, 'Stand Up And Be Counted' follows the Northern Irish rockers' 2014 debut, 'From The Flames'.

Lead singer Chris Fry said:

"I’m extremely excited as when we got the final mixes through it sounded immense. I think it shows a progression, musically, with a mixture of what we do best - the Rock N’Roll anthemic sing along chorus’ and driving riffs, mixed with some darker rib-shaking belters. What crossed my mind was that most other bands always seem to say their newest release is better than the last and of course why wouldn’t they, but this one actually is! We cannot wait to play this album live to the masses, exciting times ahead so watch this space!!"

The band have also just released the seven track EP, ‘Save Me’, featuring a cover of Good Times with guest vocals from Pontus Snibb of Bonafide.

The band play a handful of shows across the summer, including a set at Northern Ireland's Sunflower Festival and a headline show at Ballymena's Diamond Rock Club. They also appear at Hard Rock Hell in North Wales in November.
