Avantasia Announce 'Ghostlights' And Spring 2016 London Show

Avantasia have announced details of their new album and confirmed a London show in spring 2016.
The band will launch 'Ghostlights', the sequel to 2013's 'The Mystery Of Time', early next year with an EP planned for release this autumn.
To support the new record, the band will kick off a world tour in Berlin on March 4 before heading to London's Forum on March 8.
Frontman Tobias Sammet said:
"England! I'm so looking forward to bring Avantasia to such a great venue in the UK. I mean, AVANTASIA IN LONDON. That sounds like something from the seventies, something successful with credibility, somehow connected to art. Well, or an adult film. Seriously, you know how much I love the UK. Hell, I wrote a song called "England". I know, it's hard to reveal your true feelings sometimes but on the 8th of March there's your chance to show how much you love me back: Go and get your tickets, and we'll make sure you love us!
"Finally, Avantasia in a great indoor venue in London. We'll play over three hours, we're gonna be a bunch of vocalists that all of you Rock and Metal heads know, it will be an unseen All-Star Epic Operatic Classic Rock Metal Opera experience. One of those nights to remember that even the UK press will have to write about, and you will tell your grandchildren about. So, be there, get your tickets! A proper Metal Opera in a proper Metal Opera venue, in the mother country of Rock Opera! Yes, finally, we'll do it!"
Tickets are on sale now, priced at £30.00 plus fees.
