Mastodon have pulled out of this year's Reading and Leeds festival.
The Georgia metal quartet have cited personal reasons as the cause of their cancellation and Ghost will now take their place and headline The Pit stage.
Unfortunately due to a personal family matter Mastodon can no longer perform at #RandL15. Ghost will now take their place.

Still heading to the twin site festival in August are headliners Mumford and Sons, Metallica and The Libertines, as well as Royal Blood, Kendrick Lamar, Against Me!, The Gaslight Anthem and many more. Head here for the full line up.
Reading and Leeds will land at Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park between August 28 and 30.
