Bring Me The Horizon To Release 'That's The Spirit' In September

Wednesday, 22 July 2015 Written by Huw Baines

Bring Me The Horizon’s new album, ‘That’s The Spirit’, is out on September 11.

The metallers’ follow-up to ‘Sempiternal’ was recorded on the Greek island of Santorini, with Jordan Fish, the band’s keyboard player, assuming the mantle of “unofficial producer” according to an interview with NME.

Oli Sykes told the magazine: “It’s a celebration of depression. A way of making light of it. ‘That’s The Spirit’, it’s quite a depressing phrase when you think about it, the sort of thing you only ever use when you know there’s no positive answer to the situation.”

Bring Me The Horizon recently returned with Happy Song, which you can check out below, along with a trailer for Throne, which is set to be unveiled on BBC Radio 1 on Thursday night. Tune your dials at 19.20 BST.
