The View Unveil Video For Under The Rug

Wednesday, 02 September 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

The View have unveiled the video for their latest single, Under The Rug.

The song is lifted from the Scottish rockers' fifth studio album, 'Ropewalk', which is due September 4 and was produced by Albert Hammond Jr and Gus Oberg.

Discussing the video, which was directed by Dan Joyce, frontman Kyle Falconer said:

"We've known Dan for years since he used to be in Dirty Sanchez so it was a pleasure to work with him. The concept of the video is about the struggle with sweeping things under the rug. The balloons represent holding onto things that are bad in your life and that when you let go of them you are truly free."

The indie quartet will hit the road for their Ropewalk tour later this month. They will call in Aberdeen, Newcastle, Wolverhampton, London, Portsmouth, Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, Manchester, Hull, Carlisle and Edinburgh between September 15 and October 6. Tickets are on sale now.
