Queen To Release Concert Film 'Queen - A Night At The Odeon - Hammersmith 1975' In November

Monday, 12 October 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Queen will release a concern film, Queen - A Night At The Odeon - Hammersmith 1975, in November.

The footage is of the band's Hammersmith Christmas concert in 1975, which was the climax of a 26-date Queen Invite You To A Night At The Opera UK tour. On November 20 it will be released on CD, DVD, SD Blu-Ray, 2 LP vinyl, super deluxe box set and digitally through Virgin EMI. Discussing it, Brian May said:

“This concert was very special because it was the first time we ever played a whole show completely live on TV … the Christmas Show. The quality, after great rescue work and transfer into the digital domain, is amazing. And the energy we had comes across very forcefully.”
