Vic Reeves And Bob Mortimer Forced To Cancel 2015 Anniversary Tour

Wednesday, 28 October 2015 Written by Jon Stickler

Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer have cancelled their 2015 25th anniversary tour to allow Mortimer time to recover following a triple bypass heart operation.

The duo were due to hit the road next month for the first leg of their 25 Years Of Reeves And Mortimer: The Poignant Moments tour, their first live shows for 20 years. A spokesman for the star said:

"Bob would like to thank his Consultant and all the nursing staff at the hospital for looking after him so well.

"He now needs several weeks to fully recover, so unfortunately the first leg of the UK tour will be cancelled. Bob very much hopes to be fit and well enough to perform the second leg in January next year."

The tour is now set to kick off on January 30 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds with additional stops in Newcastle, Manchester, Ipswich, Nottingham and Brighton, Edinburgh, Leicester, Oxford, Southend, Stoke and Cambridge. The pair also have two dates lined up at London's Eventim Apollo on February 15 and 16.

Those with tickets for performances between November 8 and December 4 should contact their point of purchase for a refund.
