The Raveonettes Release New Track This World Is Empty (Without You)

Friday, 29 January 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

The Raveonettes have released a new track, This World Is Empty (Without You).

The song is the first in a 12 month series, which the duo have called 'RAVE-SOUND-OF-THE-MONTH' and described as an 'anti-album'. Discussing the track, which you can listen to below, Sune Rose Wagner said:

"Writing a simple song's super hard and challenging so it took awhile for this one to be just right. The music, the words, the vibe, everything has to be just perfect. It’s one of the only songs I’ve ever written where adding a guitar simply didn’t work, not sure why, just happens I guess. The beat is my take on an 80’s Freestyle beat ala Debbie Deb, and the overall vibe of the song is much darker for sure.”

The Raveonettes will play a headline London show on March 10, followed by an appearance at Cosmosis festival in Manchester's Victoria Warehouse on March 12. Tickets are on sale now.

The Raveonettes Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Thu March 10 2016 - LONDON Oval Space
