Sunday, 14 February 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

All members of Viola Beach, and their manager, have reportedly died in a car crash near Stockholm.

According to the BBC, the Cheshire four piece, consisting of Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Jack Dakin, along with their manager, were travelling back to the UK from Sweden after playing the Where Is The Music? festival.

NME have reported that a Foreign Office spokesman said: “We can confirm that five British nationals died in a car accident in Sweden on 13 February. We are in contact with local authorities and supporting the families at this difficult time.”

The quartet released their debut single, Swings & Waterslides, last year and there has been an outpouring of tributes from the music community online.
