Irvine Welsh, John Cooper Clarke Among Acts Announced For Festival No 6 Arts And Culture Programme

Irvine Welsh and John Cooper Clarke are among the latest acts to be announced for Festival No 6's arts and culture programme.

Also new to the bill are Shaun Ryder, Simon Armitage, Compagnie des Quidams, Brythoniaid Welsh Male Voice Choir, Paul Foot, Mark Watson, Geraint Jarman, Meic Stevens and R.Seilog, among others. New live additions have also been revealed, including Cassius, Faris Badwan of the Horrors' side project Cat’s Eyes and ex-Can vocalist Malcolm Mooney & Biting Tongues.

Headlining the event, which will again take over the village of Portmeirion in North Wales from September 1-4, are Bastille, Hot Chip and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. For the full line up go here. Weekend ticket prices start at £180.00, plus fees, and are on sale now.
