The Levellers And Happy Mondays To Play Anniversary Shows On Hastings Pier In September

The Levellers and Happy Mondays will play anniversary shows on the recently reopened Hastings Pier this September.
On September 17 Happy Mondays will celebrate the 25th anniversary of ‘Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches’ by playing it in its entirety. Preceding their set will be the Orb, who will mark 25 years since the release of ‘Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld’ by playing it in full. Opening the evening will be indie electronica act Formation.
The following day the Levellers, who recently announced a ‘Levelling the Land’ 25th anniversary tour, will play a front-to-back rendition of the album, plus a selection of greatest hits. They will be supported by Turin Brakes and Ferocious Dog.
Tickets go on sale at 12.00pm on April 22, with prices starting from £37.00, plus fees.
