Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Roger Waters & The Who Set For US Desert Trip Festival

The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and the Who have been confirmed for the line-up of a new US festival in October.
The Desert Trip will take place at the Empire Polo Field, Indio, California, the site of the Coachella festival, on October 7, 8 and 9, bringing together six of the world’s most influential rock and roll artists.
The three-night series gets underway with performances from the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan, before Paul McCartney and Neil Young take to the stage on Saturday night, while the weekend closes with sets from Roger Waters and the Who.
Tickets are on sale at 10am on May 9, priced between $200 (£137) per day and $1,599 (£1,097) for a three-day pass for the area near the stage.
