Rage Against The Machine Tease Return With New Website

Wednesday, 18 May 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Rage Against The Machine, who haven't played together since 2011, have put the rumour mill into overdrive by launching a new website.

Less than 24 hours ago prophetsofrage.com appeared online and began a countdown clock that ends on June 1. It followed the appearance of posters across Los Angeles, emblazoned with the below design and a link to the website.

The site's namesake is a Public Enemy track which, paired with the fact that Chuck D has been posting Rage Against The Machine videos recently, has led wagging tongues to believe that Rage and Public Enemy may be teaming up for a tour or collaboration.

It is thought that the name Prophets of Rage will be attached to the announcement, as an email sent to subscribers read: "Clear the way for the Prophets Of Rage, the party's over, summer 2016 #takethepowerback".
