The track is taken from the Pity Me power-pop band’s new album, ‘Blisters In The Pit of My Heart’, which is set to arrive on July 8 through Fortuna Pop!. Discussing the song, the band said:
“It’s song about getting it bad and getting it wrong. Romanticising something that doesn’t exist. It’s an acknowledgement of some of the more murky places your mind goes when you’re figuring yourself out. Acting like a teenager (whatever that means) in your mid-twenties.”
Martha will appear at Glastonbury before hitting the road for a summer UK tour, followed by a stop at End of the Road in September.
