Sigur Rós have posted a video for their new single, Óveður.
The track follows the Icelandic post-rock outfit's live stream video which was shared on Monday and showcased new material while the band embarked on a 24 hour journey around Iceland.
Check out the new song and its accompanying visual, directed by Jonas Åkerlund, shot in the town of Grindavík on the Reykjanes peninsular and featuring the Icelandic choreographer Erna Ómarsdóttirbelow, below.
Sigur Rós will perform as part of the Bristol Summer Series tomorrow and head to Dublin on June 26, following which they will return to the UK for Lovebox festival on July 17.
Also, in April they announced a North American tour, which will kick off in Vancouver, Canada, on September 19, before stops in Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, New York, Brooklyn, Asheville and Kansas City, winding up in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 14.
