Jack White has sent a previously unreleased White Stripes song hurtling into the world, ushering in a new rarities record.
The career-spanning ‘Acoustic Recordings 1998 - 2016’ is out on September 9 and will comprise alternate versions, mixes and unearthed material from White’s solo career and his time with the White Stripes and Raconteurs. The songs were remastered by Andrew Mendelson at Nashville’s Georgetown Masters.
City Lights, which you can stream below, was originally written for 2005’s ‘Get Behind Me Satan’.
