Cymbals Eat Guitars have posted a new track, Have A Heart.
The song is lifted from the quartet's fourth album, ‘Pretty Years’, which was produced by John Congleton and is due to be released on September 16 via Sinderlyn/Captured Tracks.
Discussing the track, frontman Joseph D'Agostino said:
"I had never written an honest-to-goodness love song before this one, and I never thought that I would. Throughout my teen years and adult life, I was in a series of really toxic relationships plagued by jealousy and insecurity, but when I met my current girlfriend I knew that I had found someone who lifts me up, and who I lift up. Matt Whipple and I co-wrote the music together and we tried to make that joy evident in it. This is a song of jubilation. I'm personally very proud of it."
The band will hit the road next month for a massive run of US shows, which will see them take in dates throughout September and October. Tickets are on sale now.
