Charli XCX has released a video for After The Afterparty.
The single, which features Lil Yachty, is the first to emerge from her new album. Its video, meanwhile, is the work of director Diane Martel. Discussing it, Charli XCX said:
"The song is about partying into the afterlife and nobody does that better than zombies – they’re the ultimate party monsters. We shot through the night for two days straight and I’m so pleased that some of my musical collaborators on the album turned into the undead and stepped into XCX world, especially for this video. Shout out A.G Cook. Shout out SOPHIE. Shout out Diane Martel. Shout out Lisa TV (and to everyone that made it happen.) BRB, need to refill my glass ;)”
