Fleet Foxes Post Update On New Album

Tuesday, 15 November 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Fleet Foxes have posted a brief update on their new album.

The folk troupe, whose last record was 2011's 'Helplessness Blues', the follow up to their self-titled debut, posted a photo by Hiroshi Hamaya, titled ‘Eruption at Mount Tokachi, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, 1962', on their Facebook page.

Following the post a fan queried if a new album was on the way, to which the band replied 'Alllllmost done'. However, no further details have been confirmed.

At around the same the band updated their Facebook page frontman Robin Pecknold posted a video clip to his Instagram account which featured only music, no visual.

It was the comments section of another post on Pecknold's Instagram account which also gave away that the band will be performing at the Spanish festival Bilbao BBK Live next year. It seems, from the fan's comment, that the news was leaked by a Spanish radio station, but the frontman confirmed it with his reply, which you can check out below.
