Ed Sheeran has returned with two new singles, Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill.
During a BBC Radio 1 interview this morning the Suffolk-born singer-songwriter confirmed that the songs have been lifted from his new album, which will be called '÷' (pronounced 'Divide'). It will follow up 2014’s ‘x’.
In a statement about the new material, he said:
“Hello 2017! I’ve been working hard on the new material and I hope you can be as excited about it as I am. I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I’m equally as passionate about and I just knew I wanted to roll with two songs at the same time. I’m absolutely buzzing to be back.”
Castle On The Hill was written with Benny Blanco, while for Shape Of You he called on Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid and producer Steve Mac. Check out lyric videos for both below.
