Ani DiFranco has shared a video for her new track, Deferred Gratification.
The song, which the American singer-songwriter and poet dedicated to President Barack Obama, will feature on her forthcoming new album, 'Binary', which is expected this spring through her own record label, Righteous Babe.
"Special thanks to the 44th president of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, for being not just the spiritual center of the third verse of this song, but for being the most awesome fucking human being any citizen could ever have the privilege of voting for as their president. you lifted us up and you gave us our pride back. Goddess give us the strength to harness that belief in ourselves now and go forward."
DiFranco also recently announced that she is currently working on a memoir which will be published by Viking Books, though an exact released date is yet to be confirmed.
