The Human League, John Cale, Metronomy And The Kooks To Headline Liverpool Sound City

The Human League, Metronomy, the Kooks, and John Cale and guests, who will perform 'The Velvet Underground & Nico', will headline this year's Liverpool Sound City.

Also confirmed for the line up are Art Of Noise, A Certain Ratio, the Kills, Slaves, Peaches, the Hunna, Carl Barat & the Jackals, the Japanese House, Fickle Friends, Pumarosa, the Magic Gang, Pale Waves, Touts, Be Charlotte, Judas, White Lies, Local Natives, Milburn, !!! (CHK CHK CHK), the Sherlocks, Cabbage, She Drew The Gun, the Vryll Society, the Shimmer Band, April and Paris Youth Foundation.

The city-based festival, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary, will take over Liverpool Waters at Clarence Dock between May 25 and 28. Tickets will go on sale at 9.00am on January 27, priced at £45.00 for the Thursday, £50.00 for Friday, £35.00 for Saturday and Sunday, or £65.00 for a weekend (Saturday and Sunday) pass, plus fees.
