Metallica To Bring WorldWired Tour To The UK And Europe This Autumn

Metallica will bring their WorldWired Tour to the UK and Europe this autumn.
The thrash legends, who released 'Hardwired... To Self-Destruct' last November, will head to Amsterdam, Paris, Lyon and Cologne before playing two nights at the O2 in London, Glasgow's SSE Hydro, Manchester Arena and Birmingham's Genting Arena, following which they have lined up two nights in Belgium. Support will come from Kvelertak.
The band will pick up the tour again in February 2018, calling in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Poland, Norway, Sweden and Finland between February 1 and May 11.
Tickets for the UK dates go on general sale at 9am on March 24, while tickets for Europe will be available on March 24 from 10am local time.
The band will also head out on the North American leg of the WorldWired Tour this summer, with Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat teaming up to provide main support on the majority of dates and Gojira stepping in for the latter on the last six shows.
