Paulo Nutini has announced a one off homecoming charity show at Paisley Abbey on October 20.
The singer-songwriter will be accompanied by his band in topping the bill for Paisley’s annual Spree Festival, along with helping the city in its bid to be UK City of Culture in 2021. Speaking about the show, Nutini said:
"I've always wanted to play in the Abbey since I was a wee boy. I’m proud to be a part of The Spree… I’m proud to be from Paisley… love is music and music is home. Big love people."
A limited number of tickets will be available to the public and fans will be able to register via thespree.co.uk between 9am on June 30 and July 6 for a chance to get the option to purchase a pair. Tickets are priced at £30.00 each with all monies going directly to five local charities selected by Nutini: the Love Street Singers, Mirren Park School, the Kibble Band, the Sunshine Recovery Cafe and some of the town’s Syrian refugee children.
