Keith Richards is reportedly ready to restart his bands world tour after having brain surgery to remove a clot.
The Rolling Stones guitarist suffered an head injury last month after falling from a coconut tree while holidaying in Fiji.
On news of the operation to the 62 year old, the band formally decided to delay the European leg of the 'A Bigger Bang' world tour which was due to kick off in Barcelona on May 27th.
Richards was discharged from the hospital in New Zealand last week and is currently being monitored by doctors as an outpatient.
Jo Wood, wife of Richards' bandmate Ronnie, said the star was recovering well. She said, "Yes, he had an accident but Keith's as strong as an ox, really he is. He'll bounce back. Keith always does." "He's fine and the tour will continue - it just might have to restart a bit behind schedule, that's all." An announcement about the rescheduled tour dates is expected to be announced soon.
