Lucy Dacus Announces Sophomore LP 'Historian' And UK Tour, Shares New Track Night Shift

Lucy Dacus has announced her sophomore album and spring UK shows.
The Richmond-based singer-songwriter will put out 'Historian', the follow up to 'No Burden', on March 2, with shows in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, London and Brighton set to follow in April as part of her European tour. Prior to that she has lined up shows across North America.
Speaking about the album, Dacus said:
"This is the album I needed to make. Everything after this is a bonus."
"It starts out dark and ends hopeful, but it gets darker in between; it goes to the deepest, darkest, place and then breaks. What I'm trying to say throughout the album is that hope survives, even in the face of the worst stuff."
