Haggard Cat Share New Song Bone Shaker

Friday, 16 February 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Haggard Cat have released a video for their new track, Bone Shaker.

The track is the latest to be shared from the Nottingham duo's upcoming debut album, 'Challenger', out on April 20 via Earache Records, following previous cuts The Patriot and American Graffiti. Speaking about the new track and its accompanying video, vocalist and guitarist Matt Reynolds said:

"The video for Bone Shaker was inspired by Japanese Kabuki Theatre. We found footage of a crazy Japanese game show where contestants would act out given scenes using mime. We completely underestimated how much effort, coordination and timing goes into the art. Every prop you see in the video is homemade by us and everything that happens we acted out with a group of friends in one room. It seemed like an accurate representation of how we function as a band so we persevered and the result is Bone Shaker. Also we get eaten by a monster that we later explode, because we got carried away."

Haggard Cat will join Feed The Rhino on tour in the UK in February and March.
