The Drums have released a new charity single, Meet Me In Mexico.
The track is available via Bandcamp as a pay-what-you-want download with all proceeds benefiting those affected by the Mexican earthquakes last September. Speaking about the track, Jonny Pierce said:
"I am grateful beyond measure for the love poured out to me from my Mexican and Mexican-American fans. I contribute much of the longevity of my career to their devotion and passion for the work I put into the world. I wrote this song when I had reached a mountaintop of frustration with Donald Trump and his Country Club of Dumb Americans."
The Drums, who put out 'Abysmal Thoughts' last year, have also announced several California shows around their appearances at Coachella this spring, including a handful of dates with Alvvays.
The Drums Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Sat April 14 2018 - FRESNO California - Strummers (USA)
Wed April 18 2018 - SANTA BARBARA California - Soho (USA)
Thu April 19 2018 - SACRAMENTO California - Harlows (USA)
Mon April 23 2018 - POMANA California - Glass House (USA)
