Friday, 16 February 2018 Written by Helen Payne

Dr Dog have announced a new album.

Following a five year hiatus, ‘Critical Equation’ is due for release on April 27.

Of the new record, bassist and vocalist Toby Leaman refelcted:

"We'd been touring and making records for our entire adult lives, and I think we just needed to take a step back. It was important for all of us to figure out if we were actually doing what we wanted to be doing, or if we were just letting momentum carry us down this path we'd always been on.”

To accompany the announcement, the indie rock outfit have also shared the album's first cut, Go Out Fighting, and will soon announce UK tour dates for autumn.
