The concert, scheduled for July 16, has been billed the 'Last Play at Shea' and Joel will be the final artist to perform at the venue. Past performances at Shea Stadium have included concerts by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Police, Simon and Garfunkel, Elton John, Eric Clapton and Bruce Springsteen.
